To: Rummyfan; Perdogg

Do you think the Patriots or Bengals can do a perfect season this year and equal the feat of the 1972 Miami Dolphins or if any team will ever do that? I’ve heard that the surviving members of that Miami team have a champagne party each time the last perfect team for the season loses for the first time (thus preserving their record).

Actually, I think the Patriots do have a good chance of going undefeated. Things in the league change quickly though... Three weeks ago I thought the Packers looked pretty damn good too. Yet Sunday they go out and lose to the Lions! (knocking me out of my survival league by the way).

As for the Bengals, well, that possibility was eliminated last night. The Pats have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way. They travel to Denver, but that doesn’t look so tough today. Brady does seem to be on a mission. The Panthers don’t look so strong, but they keep winning.

Any given Sunday and all that though. We shall see!
