Ah yes, dark matter. The mysterious substance that can't be seen or even observed, except in its effects, which can also be explained by voodoo or gremlins.

It's lucky for us science is so dedicated to eliminating the "myth" of Creation, and substituting such empirical facts in its place.

It reminds me of an old Steve Martin skit in which he said he felt unsatisfied because science was too cold and calculating, while religion was just too esoteric. The punch line was "Fortunately for me, I have my lucky astrology mood watch, or I wouldn't believe in ANYTHING!"

Neal Adams thinks dark matter is seeded in the earth and water and matter exist as a result. The Lord may have had a hand in this - who is to say he did not.

It is a classical problem and solution in the scientific process — your equation doesn't balance so you create something that fills in the gap and give it a new name.

The fundamental law in science is that nothing in nature ever disappears. It may appear to or it may change, but it never disappears.

This is the basis for all theories.
