UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm

Is that Fedor fight a dream/Bellator cross promotion event?
Yeah, that seems likely. I have never so much as even heard of this girl before, yet she is now the next one that might truly dethrone ronda.
There really seems to be some narration going on here or something.
She just doesn’t seem to have the attitude that i think is needed. Ronda is a ruthless mother so and so in that cage.
Holly needs to bring the same to win.
Half way through round one:
Whittaker comes out very aggressive early on. Uriah throwing some decent strikes as well but he is dropping his hands a lot. Hall tries to throw some sort of Matrix kicks and get taken down.
End of round one:
Whittaker stayed active on the ground against Hall. Whittaker ended up taking Hall’s back but couldn’t capitalize on the position. Hall spun it around and got in the top position at the end of the round.
A strong round for Whittaker.
Half way through round two:
Both fighters come out aggressive early in the round. Whittaker had Hall against the cage and performed some foot stomps. The fight was on hold due to an “eye poke” from Whittaker but it was a closed fist strike. Ref starts the fight pretty quickly though it broke the momentum of Whittaker.
End of round two:
The fight is slowing down a tad. Hall had a nice uppercut on Whittaker but no real damage done. Whittaker has blood coming out of his nose too. Hall seems to be getting caught some on the counter-punch. Hall keeps trying some flashy kicks and missing.
I think it was another good round for Whittaker.
A little better round for Hall but Whittaker has the edge.
Imagine the $$$ that would be made on the rubber match IF the “Preacher’s Daughter” were to actually win tonight?
Half way through round three:
Both fighters come out swinging. Hall gets caught and stalls to try and recover. Hall is wincing out of his left eye. Fighters get clinched in the cage. Hall seems to have recovered the gets whacked with an elbow. Hall strikes with some good kicks. Hall gets Whittaker against the cage.

End of the fight:
Both fighters still swinging to the end. Whittaker’s nose is busted up and Hall’s left eye is swollen. A good fight overall.
I think I’d score 30-27 Whittaker. I think he had all three rounds but Hall had a good third round, so maybe 29-28.
I’m no play-by-play guy but I try to help out if I know they are folks following the thread to keep up. Plus it keeps me engaged in the fights more than my beer. LOL
I shoulda picked Whitaker!

That makes two of us. I was impressed by Whittaker tonight.
