?????
Nothing more than symbolism, but so what? Nothing wrong with symbolism, as long as it spurs action adn doesn’t substitute for it.
What can regular folks do to demonstrate sympathy and support?
What’s wrong with that as a way to express support? I remember after 9/11 that our flag was all over the world by people who wanted in their own small way to say they stood with us.
Am I missing something?
I just went to youtube and I see they changed their logo to the French flag.
I’m on Facebook and the trend is to have the French Flag superimposed on their regular logo. What the hell? If we were in solidarity with France we would have a photo of an AK 47 or M4 or any other big ass fire arm, not some wussy flag.

It’s just the “cool” thing to be into for the week.
It’s a big “I care” stunt.
I used to really enjoy seeing "You have 0 friends"
I’ll admit I have the French flag on my picture. I have French family and friends. Besides, I had the American flag imposed over my picture when that “gay” flag crap was going on. Personally, I like this better than the homo flag on everyone’s pictures.
BS = Bovine Scatology?
After 911, the band played the Star Spangled Banner at the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.
There is great value in symbolism.
Wanna help the French?
Send ‘em more guns.
Well, at least it’s replaced the rainbow flag for a bunch of the feel good crowd.
They better learn a lot of flags. ISIS isn’t going to stop this stuff anything soo
See tagline.
Empty symbolism. I’ve been chronicling the war in Syria and ISIS for over a year on my FB page. From ISIS territorial gains in Iraq and Syria back in 2014 and the establishment of their caliphate to the Paris attacks and everything in between. Every drone strike that took out ISIS middle management, Russian intervention, etc.
All of my FB friends couldn’t give a damn. No likes. No discussion. It’s like I’m talking to myself. And now they put the French flag over their profile pic. Reminiscent of when they all adopted the rainbow flag during the height of SC debate over homomarriage.
So they’ll do that for a couple of days. And after all the candles are burned down, the bouquets of flowers have died, the balloons have popped and the teddy bears have been stolen they’ll change their profile pic back to normal and go back to posting their same old stupid crap.
F*** ‘em.
let’s fight ISIS by posting #LongLiveCharlesMartel
(Yes, a useless feel good thing that passes for actually being concerned and doing something.) The above # is written with full sarcasm of those who do those useless symbolisms
no risk of that happening here
Just remember that leftists regard style over substance so talking about their feeeeeeeelings or posting a picture of something is as good as actually dealing with problems.
