Donald Trump wasted his time associating with Schmutz Night Live
Youtube.com ^ | 11/8/15 | Me, myself, & I

I just watched most of the Donald Trump SNL stint on Youtube while doing other things. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. All I gotta say is, "Where is the eye bleach????"

Now I know that throwing out my TV set almost 40 years ago was the right thing to do. It is frightening to contemplate that most people spend many hours of their day watching stupid filth on TV. And even more frightening to contemplate that what they see on this portal from the city sewers forms the basis for most of their opinions.

This SNL show was so nauseating and just such plain dirt that I had to wonder why Donald Trump would associate himself with this nonstop pageant of brainless excrement.

Does anyone have a clue as to why Donald Trump would so lower himself by hosting this inane garbage? I sincerely hope he took a long hot shower and used plenty of soap after taping, lest he bring home any hitchhiker particles of fecal material from the set.

Carson is getting more and more bizarre every day. And, he is nowhere tough enough for the job. Can you imagine what Putin would do to him? I think he would be a detriment to Trump, an albatross around his neck.

You should have a look at the Carson "performance" on Bad Lip Reading. It's probably a perfect fit to your image of Carson.

Those were the few parts that also made me laugh near the beginning, but SNL is just not funny anymore. I had to skip through it to the parts where only Trump spoke later in the show. And it wasn’t funny.

From the 1970s through the early 1990s it was pretty good. From there onward to took a steep dive and I never watched it again until now. At least I know not to ever watch it again even if Trump is there. What kind of ratings is SNL getting these days?

I think Carson is conservative enough to mitigate the concerns you mentioned. I really think he could catch on even if he is a slow-grower.

It’s easy enough to defend Carson against the likes of politico. However it’s impossible to defend Carson against his own mouth. Yikes...

Lots of millennials watch SNL. They like it, not us older folks. Trolling for the youth vote. Sarah Palin hosted SNL too.

“Other than the political jokes, SNL has always been either trashy or lame or both, with a few funny exceptions not worth hanging around for.”

Right you are.

“I wonder if Larry David will get paid the $5K for saying Trump is a racist?”

Actually this to me was the funniest bit of the show. It was such a clever moment.

Well, this is strange. From the west coast: I taped the show and now, in the morning, I find what was taped is an old show with Buck Henry and Gilda Radner.

Oh for Pete’s sake, maybe for younger voters.

The electorate is not the same as it used to be. You have to reach them in ways they watch.

I am not an SNL fan anyway. I quit watching when the original cast was gone.

Get your panties out of a wad.

Hindsight....I wish I hadn't.

That singer "thing" didn't help.

SNL writers stink. Now I remember why I don't watch them.

There were two shows.

The first was a very old Saturday Night Live from a long time ago.

Check whether you have the later one recorded.

He needs to be AG first and train others to replace him when he gets a nomination to the USSC.

Why Trump, why?

It served him two purposes - it showed he can laugh at himself and it gave him another huge audience for free.

It's usually those on the Left that make a splash on these type shows (Clinton showing off his horn blowing and Obama showing off his ears) and it has been effective for them because it humanizes them in a wide spectrum of the public view.

His close association with race baiters like Sharpton or “kill all whites” like Farrakhan will never be overlooked by me. I am totally fed up with the racial BS we have had for 7 years. And lest you think Carson isn’t racist remember he is for “ social justice” code for more racism. And his second guessing in the shooting of Michael Brown the huge 300 pounder was perpetuating a myth that feeds “blacklivesmatter”

I’m not seeing a lot of people bashing Trump here. I’m seeing a LOT of people bashing SNL’s writers.

This show has truly gone down the tubes. It just isn’t funny any more.

Last night was a disappointment because it was a real opportunity for SNL. With many more people tuning in, this was a shot for them to draw in new viewers (and bring back the old ones).

Yes, those were the good old glory days of SNL.
