Those high powered mid-engine cars can be very unforgiving once they get a little sideways.
Ask me how I know...
Its for the best. I think the now Torino GT would be a better fit for you anyway ;)
Ha! GMC has a ‘vehicle’ that can go places you Ford owners can only dream of.
(GMC=God made/created)
(’vehicle’=horse)
Give Me Carrots ;)
Or a Yamaha R1.
But, there are very few that can operate either at full potential.
>>LOL! My ‘old’ 2003 Corvette does 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Show me any (stock) Accent or Civic that can match that kind of acceleration.
>>If the Vette or Porsche is slow off the line it’s because the driver is taking it easy, not because it’s a slower car.
Wow. How did you ever get the idea that I thought the CAR was slow? (Hint: read the trophy wife paragraph) Yes, it is the driver who is slow because they are almost always old men.
“The new Z06 Corvette does 2.95 sec 0-60 and a quarter mile 10.95 sec 127mph.”
I cannot even fathom that. My car does 0-60 is about 5sec and the pucker-factor is high. But mine cost lest than half the ‘vette, so it evens out.
My Hyundai does just fine.
Korean babe not included.
Not the first time that has happened, and certainly not the last..
Ask me how I know..."
Well played.
I had a 2010 Genesis Coupe (3.8, of course) for 4 years. Bought the first one in town the day after they hit the showroom. Traded it for a Mustang last year. I would have gotten a new 2015 GC but the Hyundai dealers in town just didn’t have anything I liked in stock.
I really liked that car though. Hyundai did good!
I’ve driven that stretch in bad weather many times. You are correct.

What’s incredible is them ever getting together in the first place.

Had to settle for a LeCar.

I like mine. I’ve only gotten it up to about 100mph, but that’s pretty good for the street I’m doing in on. They’ve squeezed a few more ponies out of the 3.8 since 2010. With 93 octave I figure I’m getting 350hp. Mine’s a 2014 Ultimate edition, everything’s standard, only thing you have to choose is manual/automatic and what color paint. They had to ship my red one down from NJ.
I’m gonna put a CAI, true dual exhaust and a turbo on mine, hope to get about 400hp.
If I don’t get myself killed with it beforehand.

That’s why I went with the Mustang last year. It’s got 420 right out of the box. I’ll supercharge it when the warranty runs out and get up to 600.
