Gospel song sung be the Five Blind Boys of Alabama. This video was arranged by o7jimmy with start and ending picture of the US Congress cheering and clapping.
I guess I will never be a country-western fan. I agree with their intention, faith and fervor but...I can't a-get into their way of a-singing. Way too urban, I guess.
Our good Lord knows what's in our hearts...always. He is ALWAYS listening.
An Immaculate Heart Radio show host always ends his hours by saying something to the effect of:
If we aren't as close to our Lord as we once were -- who moved?
Try the beginning of “Girl With Far Away Eyes” by the Stones.
My taste in music is 100% classical.
If classical music is unavailable, I listen to Immaculate Heart Radio. If neither are on, I shut off the radio and turn on the CD player.
THEN I listen to my classical CDs: Bach, Wagner, Mozart, etc., all classical. There is a reason why classical music is called that.
I love it! Tapped my toes and sang along.
It’s always good to PRAISE THE LORD!
Maybe we need a weekly inspirational get together here on FR and all share our favorites! :-)
