Yup. The core math in all computers. These logic gates are used to make higher level functions (with feedback) like flip-flops and then state machines.
My son is interested in programming and hardware. I was explaining these gates to him this past weekend.
You can make any logic gate from three building blocks: And, Or, and Nor.
