Collins should have made Cespedes run halfway to 1st. Then he should have put Uribe in when he couldn’t run. Legares has been hotter than Cespedes.

Collins having a bad game tonight. First leaves Cespedes in, then doesn’t use Wilmer to bunt Conforto over to second. Should have had Harvey and Granderson with a chance to drive in an insurance run. Not impressed with Mets coaching.

Collins has the lead. That can sometimes paralyze a manager. Leading through eight. I questioned the Cespides move, but he may luck out. He only needs three more outs.

I can’t swear to it but the Royals do have one game to waste . . . assuming they would rather win it all at home.
But if the Mets win, they only need to win two more. KC has lost at home this year.
