She had another ultrasound today to check on the blood clot in her leg (from the central line). It's still there, but not any bigger. Her leg looks much better and the swelling goes down daily.
She had her normal blood draw today and her white blood cell count was still in normal range! Her hemoglobin numbers were still ok and she does not yet need a transfusion. Of course, it would be nice not to have another one, although that's highly unlikely.
Thank you all for your continued prayers and thoughts. Brent and I hope to make separate appearances tomorrow, so the other can be here with Sawyer, at the Help the Hulls Heal Benefit. We can never thank everyone enough for all of the support!!
Sawyer Jane is on so many hearts. God is not unaware..ever. He has a plan! God bless all of you.
Today was our check up with our pediatrician. Sawyer's hemoglobin was the highest it has ever been!! We are so excited that her little body seems to finally be making and keeping red blood cells.
Because of the new medicines Sawyer is on, her immune system is weaker. Therefore, until we're off of the meds, Sawyer will not be making any public appearances, lol. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas!
Prayers are working...please keep them coming for Sawyer.
