Who decided whether a piece of music was sad, aggressive, or...whatever?
One person might find a piece of music sad and another will find the same piece inspiring or uplifting or maybe just ugly.
One music critic enlikened the prelude to Tristan und Isolde to a torture chamber - said it reminded him of a picture of a medieval martyr whose intestines were slowly being unwound onto a reel.
The people who did this so-called study are full of bunk.
