Someone pointed out on the original thread what a lightning magnet this will be.

MLK doesn’t deserve a monument anywhere. He doesn’t deserve to have any streets, schools, or anything else named after him. He was a plagiarist, an instigator of riots, a whoremonger, an adulterer, and a liar.

And the first time it’s hit and destroyed, evil republicans will be blamed. Well, them and the tea party, conservatives and bible thumping gun owners.

I doubt it. He’s not an American hero nor does he stand for American values.
MLK is a symbol of unconstitutional government interference and usurpation of states and individual rights.
His emotional call for federal interference with “discrimination” has led to a parade of horribles. “Discrimination” simply means freedom to choose, every man’s birth right and protected by the Constitution against government interference and tyranny.
I see no reason for this idea to come to fruition and should not and I think will not happen.

Oh Well, It could be worse.
I actually expected that the PC crew was going to require that the Confederate monument be blasted off the mountain like the Taliban did to the Buddha statues in Afghanistan and the wholesale destruction of historical artifacts and structures that ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood do wherever they gain power.

Why can't they find their own mountain?
I guess because no one would bother to go look at it. They gotta parasite of the White man.

Give it time, first they have to consecrate the location with their own temple, then they’ll blow the mountain.

But he served the communist’s objectives quite well, and that’s all the anti-American left cares about.

In the 1960's and later, during the debate over establishing a Martin Luther King holiday, some conservatives tried to call attention to King's leftist radicalism but were brushed off as "racists." Now Cornell West, who is most certainly not a white supremacist or a conservative has come out with a new book, The Radical King (Boston: Beacon, 2014). West argues that King was, indeed, a revolutionary crusader against "global imperialism" and "every bit as radical as Malcolm X."
