I have never been a real fan of the Capt. Picard Star Trek but still watched it every now and then.

A few days ago they showed an image of what looked like a 1980s era Army man in uniform. This was supposed to show how evil humans were at that time.

Capt. Picard launched into the most vile and prolonged insult of the American military of that era. I mean he just kept it up for a long time using insulting, hatred filled language, and I mean extremely mean spirited.

I vowed to never watch that show again. The writers are clearly radical leftists, possibly even worse than most of them. I think even worse than whoopie.

I don’t remember that, but there was an early episode where they somehow picked up a trio of 20th century Americans and it was played for maximum ridicule. One was a wealthy guy concerned for his stocks and they delighted in repeating the old TNG bilge about there being no monetary system in the future. Going back to barter is wonderful. “We need your dilithium crystals. What can we trade for it?” “You got nothing we want. Beam off our planet!”
