....life as we know it And there's the rub - life "as we know it" is pretty limited. If Earth itself is any indication, the more we search, the more we will find.

.I hate to be a spoilsport but Pluto isnt going to have life. The conditions required for life as we know it arent even close to possible on Pluto. Maybe not life "as we know it" in your basement or somewhere. But stuff has been growing on the outside of the ISS - why not in liquid water (from compression warming) deep inside a tectonic crack on Pluto?
