What would a hexadecimal version of the joke be? Or octal?

For both hex and octal, it would be “2”, which wouldn’t convey the meaning.

Doesn’t work with Hex or Octal, as they both have a 2 in them so the saying would just be:

There are 2 types of people in this world, those that know binary and those that don’t.

So the joke is lost...

There used to be a great mini-epic titled "The Gospel According to Saint Hexadecimal". I sure wish I could find it.
