Several years ago we were visiting our son in Boston in December. Very little in the Christmas line of things. We drove one day out to Concord and walked around their little down town. Very little Christmas, none of the homes decorated. I remember it being sort of sad and dark. We did go to their local museum where they had a bunch of Christmas trees decorated in the themes of various children’s books but of course, no Christian themes.

Then on the way back into Boston we saw one big house up on a hill with every Christmas decoration anyone could buy at Walmart including the inflatable snow ball with Santa in it. I loved it. I wanted to go to the house and thank them but my husband and son wouldn’t let me.
