The potential for abuse of this is rampant.

Each trip and driver registered to Rookie Dongle is assigned with a safety score based on driving behaviour. In this way, the technology can be used to produce customised reports which car owners can use when negotiating insurance policies. Can't see anything going wrong with that, right? I mean, what could possibly go wrong??

Liberal’s dream of prisons. It’s their only dream, and they dream it every night, and live it every day.
Only they don’t call it “prison.”
They call it “safe.”

I like how my F150 is set up, and can put speed, power, and stereo volume limits on a secondary key. Not that anybody else has a key to it, but IMO that is a better way of limiting a young driver than a nanny system that tracks GPS.

Kids will pull it out before using the car.

My husband used the word “dongle” once. The other nine people in the car chorused, “That’s so GAY!” and he never did it again. (At least, not in front of us.)

I agree. Don’t like this at all. And this coming from a mom who’s 16 yr. old is about to drive. I have to trust in him and what I taught him.
