Heh....how'd you guess? Normally, it has more *slime* on it! Yuck! Funny story....we have a new neighbor....a young girl about 9y/o.....she recently had her upper lip torn off by a Rottie where she used to live. She's terrified of dogs. My son was playing fetch with the Lab and she came out and stood on the front steps, her back squished to the front door. Son asked her to sit by him and if she wanted to throw the ball. She was quite reluctant....but gave in after a few words of encouragement. She *hates* the slimey ball....but loves the interaction with this goofball dog.

Labs are great with kids, generally. I think she has been *won over* from her understandable fear. She has lots more plastic surgery in her future.
