Solution to that problem is say I spent all your inheritance. Just joking! Not! And laugh! Just joking! Not! Laugh. Children learn early how to play mind games. When our daughter was younger and we were in Applebees for dinner, she was about six and decided she was going to lie down in the booth. Well my husband and I tried the same behavior, it was difficult, hard to do in limited space. But we did just as she was doing. My husband put his head down on the table, moved all the dishes out of the way and splayed his arm out. I slid down on my side of the booth as far as I could without slipping to the floor. It didn't take long, she sat bolt upright, looked at us like we were batsh*t crazy and never did it again. My dad taught me you fight threat with greater threat or in this case, fight stupid with greater more embarrassing stupid. She is older and getting wiser and has always known where Mom and Dad's lines are drawn. Whenever she was doing something we didn't want her doing, we just up and did it bigger, higher, stronger, exaggerated. Worked with her like a charm. My sister and I learned early our parents weren't slaves, waiters and punching bags. Now days that may not work because a lot of people I see relish pushing the envelope, daring anyone to correct them. Those people I pretend are invisible which I can tell gets under their skin. My attention is paid to those deserving it not the ones who think they do or are entitled to it. Check out what this dad did to lead his daughter by example. Too cool for words. This was in 2013. It all started last August when Mackintosh's family was going out for a night of putt-putt, hibachi, and milkshakes, and Mackintosh's daughter refused to wear longer shorts. So, Mackintosh decided he would turn his jeans into a pair of jorts with a length more fitting of Magnum P.I. The daughter ended up getting embarrassed, and now the dad has become an Internet sensation—even bringing his "Daisy Dukes" on a local news broadcast. The fact he wore a "Best Dad Ever" T-shirt gives us our further reason to applaud this man's parenting techniques.

I love it!!! LOL

*Worked with her like a charm.*

But not all kids have *shame*.....I’ve come to believe it’s a taught trait. Kids from the *hood*, life experience has taught me....have NO shame. It remains to be seen if this was a person of color, or not.

If my father wore that outfit, one or both of his beans would be hanging out the side. That would clear the restaurant.
