Imagine the guy walking toward your loved ones aiming his weapon and killing your wife/children before your eyes and YOU, the dad had no way to stop it.
The governor at the time, Ann Richards, a liberal democrat forbid the passage of a CHL law that would have given folks the ability to protect themselves and their families.
Shortly after, G. Bush took office and immediately passed a concealed handgun law.
We now, in Texas have a restored RIGHT of self defense. May not stop all situations, but one things for damn sure, some crazy lunatic will have to bob and weave to dodge incoming fire from dads protecting their loved ones.
