CHICAGO (CBS) — While overall crime is down since last year, Chicago saw a big increase in fatal shootings last month, which was the deadliest September in more than a decade.
Compared to the first nine months of last year, murders were up 21 percent through the end of September. Shooting incidents were up 19 percent, and the number of shooting victims was up 14 percent. Overall crime – including robberies, burglaries, and thefts – was down 7 percent.

Barry must be a racist. Nothing about the black homicides in Chicago but immediately goes on the air when White people are killed to denounce it and promote gun control. Sure looks racist to me.

Er well Detroit has a mayor now who was featured on the cover of the NRA magazine. He is pro-gun. As a result, things are rapidly improving there.

Yes and the “nice “ neighborhoods of Lakeview, Wrigleyville and Boystown now have muggings in the middle of the day. There is an excellent blog “Crime In Wrigleyville and Boystown” - definitely worth reading. An eye opener of what is going on and what is not going on.
