She ran for governor twice....and lost. Looks like she’s a “15 minutes” specialist.

I have seen a "block" of dense bamboo planted as a security barrier and there ain't nothing getting through it.
Like you said, it can break asphalt and become a real nuisance if not very carefully managed.

Had a friend in Laud planted it around her pool for privacy. It went nuts, neighbors all sued her and won to get her to remove it and or maintain it.It invaded there 3 properties. She was sorry she ever put those rhizomes in the ground. Not worth the effort.

1.) Did it to keep her horses from being startled by rugrats.
2.) Did plant trees.
3.) Claimed screen was temporary while waiting for the trees do what trees do.
To: simpson96
The gap between the screen and the ground sort of nullifies the excuse of a horse seeing a child in the driveway before the screen was constructed.

Does not appear to be an HOA type neighborhood why can’t she do whatever she wants on her land?
To: bigbob
Make it a billboard for Planned Parenthood and nobody would have the guts to say anything about it. Billboards are illegal here. She should have put up a big solar panel.

These are the people who hold “first in the nation primaries” and we’re looking to them to give us, the rest of the rest of the country, direction toward a legitimate GOP candidate?

If one follows the link to the original story there's this little nugget (which blows up the "did it to protect my horses" claim)...
in letters to the town, Dwyer said she was exploring other ways to block her view of the Perrys home, including a solar array, a pole barn for hay storage and a 9- to 10-foot-high privacy screen that adequately blocks the television-light pollution emanating across the road"
Looks like the Granite State dodged a bullet with this one.

Sadly, that is very, very typical of the post-industrial northeast towns. It’s everywhere Democrats have ruled and wrecked. I know of many young kids my children’s age who are addicted or have died from heroin.

yea and its invasive and a nuisance and almost impossible to get rid of.Kinda like illegal immigrantsAgree. Can't stand bamboo.
I don't see any trees she claims to have planted.
