Sitting down for an interview with PEOPLE in his office at Trump Tower, Donald Trump is charming, candid (he answered any question posed to him) and very confident.
"When you see you're number one in every poll that makes any criticism go away very quickly," he says. "If I'm able to get the nomination, my polling looks very good against Hillary or whoever it may be. I think I'll win."
Financially, he's prepared for the enormous cost of running a campaign (Obama's cost an estimated $1 billion in 2012).

Cheers.
Very positive article. Is this really People?
So far his divorces haven’t hurt him. Doesn’t affect my vote but will it affect any groups of voters?
I’ve noticed now a couple rational political stories out of People. Have they always been rational?
They look like the ideal first family in that cover photo. In the interview, it’s nice that Tiffany is included. It makes clear what a great father Trump is.
yeah, i’m shocked People did that!
they might like him there. His tax package is a little progressive, they would like that, he said he wants to make sure everyone has insurance, meaning back to private for us and some form of healthcare for the 25 million who dont have it. I’m sure he will find a way to make it much cheaper for the government.
I guess my friends and I will all be getting this magazine now, lol. “People” will make millions from this issue. They must be salivating with anticipation.
Amazing. The guy, is the only guy running on either side that can do what he’s doing. He’s cashing in on all his friends out there. On People Magazine, after Rolling Stone.
These two mags are totally anti republicans, conservatives etc... yet there he is.
The heads are exploding if you read the commentary. They’re the perfect example of your thick headed low informed voter out there. Just read their comments.
OTOH, there are around 3/10 that are positive, so he’s winning over voters... little by little.
In short, Trump is in a dog eat dog primary, but is also keying in on the national side as well.
“In short, Trump is in a dog eat dog primary, but is also keying in on the national side as well.”
Exactly right you are.
Any criticisms I may have on Trump do not extend to his performance as a father because he and his wives seem to have raised a very attractive, level-headed and responsible group of kids.
I look forward to buying this People magazine........something I haven’t done in a long while.
The cover photo is great......loved the comment by Tiffany Trump.....
Good job!
Grecious of you.
Need more coffee!
Gracious of you !
Which further supports the message of so many friends that the private Trump is nothing like the public.persona. Alice Cooper compares it to his own rock star persona compared to the married 40 yr, sober 30 born again Christian that he is. Cooper is a member of the Trump golf foursome
Ping
interview at home with Trump and family
From the CNN Debate, Sept. 2015:http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2015/09/16/bobby_jindal_lets_stop_treating_donald_trump_like_a_republican.html
GOVERNOR BOBBY JINDAL: Well, Jake, I'm in compliance with the 11th Commandment, and I would tell my fellow Republicans, let's stop treating Donald Trump like a Republican. If he were really a conservative... and 30 points ahead, I would endorse him. He's not a conservative. He's not a liberal. He's not a Democrat. He's not a Republican. He's not an independent. He believes in Donald Trump.
Quote from Melania Trump, People Magazine, Oct. 2015:http://www.people.com/article/people-magazine-home-donald-trump-family
"He is who he is," she says. "Even if you give him advice, he will maybe take it in, but then he will do it the way he wants to do it. You cannot change a person. Let them be. Let them be the way they are."
Thanks for the ping.
Love the picture and the quote by his daughter. I agree with her. It is great not to have to try and decipher what he means when he says something.
Balanced article? ha!
“He dealt with huge fallout in June, after making inflammatory comments on illegal immigrants...”
Fallout? Don’t they wish.
Thank God he is not a “Republican”. Nor a Femocrat. He seems to be a true populist.
They seem like a very nice, very normal family.
