The single best hamburger I have ever had from a fast food place was a Whopper. Despite that, they are generally one of the worst. Actually I haven’t eaten at one in 20 years so it may have changed.

The only one I have tried in at least ten years was McDonald’s and it was just plain awful.

I just had a Whopper last Sunday to celebrate the Blood Moon. The sauce combined with the pickle slices created a bitter aftertaste that overpowered all the other ingredients. They have changed the sauce by using too much ketchup. They have made the onions and tomatoes thinner and cut back on the lettuce. I rated the burger an F.

My son ordered their new A1 Mozzarella Burger and asked for extra onion and tomato slices (which this burger does not have). They failed to put in the extra onion and tomato slices. They even forgot his fries. He was very disappointed, but did like the overall taste for fast food fare. It tells me you need to taste test and check your order for completeness before leaving the Burger King.

Man.... you need to get out there and try Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s, In-n-Out, or What-A-Burger!
