Imagine how hard it must be to *cut* the cheese!
As well as bowel clogging factors too...
;-)
“They havent become - they have always been.
Im 511 and when I travel to the Netherlands, I feel like a midget.”
ditto. now i know how the japanese feel when they visit the U.S.
Whenever a dike or polder was breached, only the tall Dutch survived. Natural selection.
If it smelled like dirty sweat socks it was probably not Gouda. Gouda is a mild cheese.
Coincidence?
I don’t THINK so!!
Don’t forget the gehakt (meatloaf) and borenkool (mashed potatoes w/ sausage, garlic and kale)...
“There’s only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people’s cultures and the Dutch.” - Nigel Powers
I shee sherre is no schatshfying you! ;)
Right, food for young’uns, I try to avoid it.
It said Gouda on the label.
Reminds me of the movie NOTHING SACRED. “And here we have Miss Amsterdam who saved Holland when she stuck her finger in the Dyke!”
I spewed my soda when I heard that!
My roommate’s sister dated a Lithuanian professional basketball player... I have no doubt to your claim.
Was probably Port du Salut... but then again the last time I was home my dad had some Port Salut and it had no funk to it at all... was creamy and yummy!
**** “Oh yeah? What about mice?” ****
Well like I was tellin Norm, ya see the Big Mouse shoulders out the Little Mouse and gets first dibs on the Cheese, but everyone knows... the Second Mouse always gets the Cheese, after thousands of generations of second mouse breeding it is therefore concluded... that is why mice are diminutive creatures and have not taken over the world.
Cheers!
“Not always. I read that they were average or below average height only a few generations ago.”
It’s due to global warming. Netherlands is pretty much at sea level. Sea level is rising, so people need to be taller so they don’t drown. Proof of evolution AND global warming.
Want even more proof? The Sherpas are pretty short - ‘cuz Mt. Everest is so far from the ocean and all. Well - and there is more of earth’s gravity pulling down on them. Of course, less gravity in the Netherlands may be another reason they are so tall.
Wish that picture would have worked
