Easy-peasy. They can't get inside. So, make some noise and they come running to you. The only time tankers would be vunerable is when you have to refuel. Lure em all out to some big open parking lots and do laps. You could probably "process" tens of thousands an hour. A motivated tank battalion could clean up a population the size of Chicago in two days or so. Might need a couple of bulldozers with closed cabs to clean up the slop and gore.
