Whenever I feel bored, I think of some unpleasant task that needs doing. By the time it’s done, I have no problem finding something fun to do.

Great idea!
I remember Dennis Prager saying he would turn unpleasant tasks into a game...like changing a dirty diaper. He would make it a contest and time himself to see how fast he could do it.
