No. Buy powdered pool chlorine. Teaspoon or so per gallon and it doesn't off gas and corrode stuff (and become ineffective)while you store it.

First bleach has a shelf life I prefer calcium hypochlorite.

Then there a whole host of contaminates that bleach won’t touch. You will need a good filter.

That WILL NOT do anything for removal of Cryposporidium and Giardia. They must be filtered out. Or boiled to death

May as well just stock up on Vodka or Gin;)

Powdered Pool Shock works better than Bleach.

Clorox bleach will not last that long...it destabilizes....

some people buy those chlorine tabs for swimming pools...

but I wonder if vinegar, which AFAIK lasts a long time, would be an alternative?
