What kind of Aluminum bottles?
Just a hand-held one - 750ml. I’m not sure if they are aluminum - but I’m guessing they are. I see on Amazon they also have them in stainless steel.
I just pick them up if they are in good shape at the thrift store. Brand new - I’m guessing they are promo things and people grab them, they sit around for a year, and then get dumped in the donation bin. Wide mouth is better.
I know aluminum can poison you over time - but it probably beats dehydration. Backpacking once I got sick - still not sure if it was the aluminum pot I used to boil the lake water - or if it was the lake water. Now I carry around a small Sawyer water filter.
