Oh, I am a Girl Scout leader !

So I have stoves made out of #10 cans and ovens made out of foil lined cardboard boxes plus all kinds of other experience using foil, rocks, sticks, cooking in paper bags etc

Next project is to get the kids to make some tea light candle heaters with clay pots, see if we can heat a room to survival temp this winter

My favorite subject is to teach the girls primitive camping
But there are some great new modern gadgets like those little back pack stoves with tablet fuel !

Excellent!So many ways to achieve the same result,you just have to be creative.

I had so much fun doing that with the girls years ago...I wish I could join you and do it again.

We went snow camping and even built snow huts to break the wind...yes we had a lodge when it got just too cold about 3 AM...the younger scouts welcomed us in and shared their warm beds too!!

I loved those years!!
