I have been thinking about that concept more and more lately, and i'm not liking the result, but it seems to be beyond my power to do anything about it.
That’s a good one, and I had not heard it before.

M4L quotes
I have started wondering why I’m drawing these people to me. Am I doing that also? Or have people always been complaining but I’m just noticing it now? Or is it a good thing, perhaps I am helping someone vent by talking out their problems. Maybe if I just sit there and repeat over and over to myself as they whine and complain, “It’s not about the nail, it’s not about the nail, it’s not about the nail.”
It wouldn’t be so bad if they just spent five minutes bitching but they go on and on and on and on. It seems like hours, days, weeks, months go by while they complain.
Oh well, this, too, shall pass.
That is a great short movie. Thanks a lot for sharing it.
War kills men, and men deplore the loss; but war also crushes bad principles and tyrants, and so saves societies.

Though the mills of God grind slowly,
Yet they grind exceeding small;
Though with patience He stands waiting,
With exactness grinds He all.
- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. - Winston Churchill
"When you have to kill a man, it costs nothing to be polite." - Winston Churchill
I love Conan the Barbarian.
If it wasn’t for the last minute, nothing would happen. ..
Willie Wonka’s statement about a good deed shines reminds me of something I’ve been noticing.
The truth shines. Have you ever noticed that? There’s no question when you’re hearing the truth, it just shines.
One rarely sees the shining truth in the media, but in the real world, I notice it quite a bit.
Dinkins actually has a point.
“I’m Michael Weston. ..”
Agreed. Lately more than ever.
This reminds me of another Steven Write quote, I never read it and only heard it once, but it's stuck with me:
"I have a sea shell collection. I keep it on the beaches of the world." -- Steven Wright
I saw that one on a TV show, the first line was the “if you had everything” line. Wright is great.
