I knew kids younger than him who were printing their own circuit boards, soldering on components and subsequently programming them for all sorts of gizmos that handled advanced tasks. Gutting a garage sale special 1986-model digital clock and sticking the innards inside another container isn't "building" squat. That family came up with a scheme to con & defraud people and institutions. The faster they are exposed for the frauds they are, the better.
I agree. In one you tube video, the kid admits it looked suspicous, so he put some string or some cord around it to make it less manacing looking. Now he puts out a pic, going to lawyers to sue. The family are roaches.
