Well she was a Democrat when she refused to issue homosexuals license and you “supported” her then? Why change now that she is out? Nothing changed..
My Dad was a life long Democrat and fought at the Battle of the Bulge and was and will always be my hero.
A person can be a Democrat and still do the right thing..
You and I would have disagreements about theological issues but we could and should debate those issues without attacking each other on a personal level.
Our enemies (liberals, democrats, communists, progressives, etc,) always stick together to defeat us in the public realm, us being conservative Christians.
Kim Davis is a sinner I know that for sure. She could be a charlatan (Elmer Gantry type) or not, she is not the issue. If we conservatives let our enemy distract us from the issue we are to blame.
Sad really that liberals fight to win and win they do. We turn and try to fight each other while the commie libs laugh at us.
His name was Zell Miller. And he was not a “real” Democrat. He stayed in the Party just to be a thorn in their flesh.

Change doesn’t always happen instantly. I used to be very liberal. I didn’t wake up one day and find myself a hardline conservative. It took several years for me to make the complete transition.
Davis made a commitment to Jesus. The first necessary change was to get her spiritual house in order. More political changes may be in store for her as she continues along her journey of faith.
For two years I attended an Assemblies church. Afaik, we were ALL Republicans. At least I knew of no Dem in the church. One evening we had a guest speaker, a black pastor from an Assembly church in The heart of Boston. He remarked that in our church it was all but inconceivable that a Christian could be a Dem—if not outright inconceivable. He told us that in many black churches the reverse was true; that they couldn’t figure out how we could be Republican and Christian at the same time.
That pastor’s message was probably lost on many. What with Dems and partial birth abortion/infanticide, is really does seem like a choice between the Dem party and the Christian faith. But that choice only exists for those who fully grasp the Dems’ commitment to the death and destruction of the most innocent and helpless. Some aren’t there yet. Their POV just doesn’t bring such aspects of modern liberalism into focus.
God is typically more patient than we are. He works with each of us where we are. It will be interesting to see if Kim Davis’ spiritual growth and maturity, which will hopefully ensue, doesn’t eventually impact her political affiliation. Time will tell.
Jailing a person based on party affiliation? That is a dark road.

I can’t support her for different reasons.
She told her clerks not to issue licenses, either. You have a religious conviction? I can probably support you.
Your religious convictions extend to others? No support at all.
I don’t need anyone using their religion to “guide” others.
Especially a woman. If I wanted to belong to a church that supports female priests, I would, but I cannot so I do not.
Lots of speculation with no facts is standard with some here on FR.

You know what /johnny (and you too deport) if you confessed to being a member of NAMBLA (North America Man/Boy Love Association), I’d feel rather certain that, as a member, you’re of the same mind-set of all the pedophiles in that organization. So, if she is a lifelong DemocRAT, she must be of the same mind-set as Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama. “Birds of a feather, flock together.”
So, if you wouldn’t make statements like the one above, people wouldn’t know how ignorant you really are.
