Does Carson Have A Romney Problem?
9/11/2015 | self

Posted on 09/11/2015 8:45:41 AM PDT by conservativejoy

Last election millions of evangelicals stayed home rather than vote for a Mormon candidate whose faith did not adhere to Orthodox Christianity.

This election, we have another candidate whose faith is also outside the boundaries of traditional Christianity. Many people do not know that Dr. Ben Carson is a Seventh Day Adventist. Those that do, know little or nothing about this religion, or that it falls within the definition of a cult.

Seventh Day Adventism was founded by a woman named Ellen G. White, a self proclaimed Prophetess. White's writings are published in the Seventh Day Adventist translation of the Bible, The Clear Word. Her writings are woven into Scripture and are given the weight of the Scriptures themselves. Strict adherence to the teachings of Ellen G. White is required.

As with any cult, Jesus is diminished as something less than Deity. Similar to what Jehovah's Witnesses believe, Adventists also believe that Jesus was an archangel. There are parallels here, too, with Mormonism which teaches that Jesus and Satan were brothers, both angels.

Adventist use much of the terminology of traditional Christianity, but define those terms entirely differently. Adventism teaches Tritheism just as the Mormons do, as opposed to the Holy Trinity of Christianity.

For those interested, there is an abundance of information on the Seventh Day Adventist religion. The question for those looking at the candidates is, does it matter if a potential President is influenced by a false religion?

Speaking for myself, the answer is "ABSOLUTELY"!

Ill leave you to your erroneous conclusions that they are a Christian group - because, by golly - they say they are.

Oh, stop it. That’s circular reasoning. “They say they believe the Trinity, but I don’t trust them because they’re a cult.”

If the fact that they teach from their own translation of the Bible interspersed with the teachings of Ellen G. White, doesn’t bother you, so be it.

I am mindful of what the judgment will be for those who add to or take away from God’s Word.

They use... a combined book of the teaching of Ellen G. White and her interpretation of the scriptures.

Puts them in the same league with Rabbinic Judaism and their Talmud and Kabbalah; Islam and their Koran; RCC "traditions;" Mormonism and their Book of Mormon.

Interesting that a lot of FReepers, which could never bring themselves to vote for a Muslim president, which have the Koran for their written authority (the root of their problem), yet they have no problem voting for a Mormon or a SDA for president - which also have extra-Biblical written authority (the root of their problem).

Some don’t have the discernment to see the dangers of authority outside the Bible. Glad that you do!

I think the last time evangelicals turned out was for Reagan.

I would never worship in an SDA church. But most of the SDA’s I have known don’t consider themselves to be any more subject to Ellen G. White than a Presbyterian would be to Calvin, or a Methodist would be to Wesley, or a Baptist would be to Spurgeon. In a candidate, if I am looking at the moral potential, I certainly would prefer a conscientious SDA to a strictly nominal mainliner. Now, as to whether Carson would be an effective president, I don’t think he would be and I would not want him to get the nomination. But this business of trying to scare people away from Carson with the SDA bugbear is just silly.

Quote-Likewise, God himself provided early Christians with a new pattern of worship through Christ’s resurrection on the first day of the week as well as the Spirit’s descent on Pentecost Sunday.

He changes not. But Judaism and Christianity is blind to it..

He was raised on the 16th Day, Feast of First Fruits. And that will ALWAYS be the 3rd Day from Passover- even when Passover lands on a Monday like it did in 2014- or when Passover should have landed on a Saturday in 2015- it didn’t because Judaism ignores the calendar He taught Israel..

The 14th Day of our Fathers calendar (Passover in His 1st month) is Always the 6th Work Day of His 2nd Week.

The Son finished His Work on Passover(14th)

The Son rested in the Tomb on the ‘Weekly AND annual’ Sabbath (15th)

The Son rose from the grave on the 1st Day of the next week (16th)

He changes not. But Rome has changed times and laws- just lil Daniel 7 says .

And SDA are as blind as any because they accept the false premise that Rome tells time correctly..

And if people followed the Father’s calendar, they may understand how counterfeit this world, thanks to ‘religion’ , really is..

And if one studies it, they will see how Jesus very life events (birth, circumcision, presentation in the temple, baptism, death, burial, resurrection, and giving of Holy Spirit occurred on appointed Days He taught Israel- New Moons, Sabbaths and Feasts

Literally, The Word Made Flesh.. And it is an awesome story that His Calendar tells of His Creative and Redemptive Work..

Sadly, Judaism and Christianity can’t teach it. They may barely be able to see it. One would see it if they come out of the world system first.. And that would mean unlearning lots of ‘givens’.

The world is counterfeit- so is their calendar. And SDA has issues with the Pope except for the Pope Gregory (Gregorian) calendar that they trust to observe Sabbath- they wonder after the beast themselves..

Satan deceives the whole World- this very day and most don’t see it.

But most call today Friday in honor of some false goddess , according to Rome.

And not His 5th Day, according to His Calendar..(that is found in Scripture and in His Sky)

I don’t know any SDA. I pray I do get to talk to some someday- so I could ask them some pointed questions on why they do what they do, in light of their own teachings about Rome(which BTW,the first reformers had some of the same views)

When one realizes those ‘pesky’ Muslims can stumble into His Sabbath, it brings to light how Satan seems to play 3 card monte in the major religions.

The call to ‘come out’ of babel may be far more weblike than SDA teaches and they may be trapped in that web too..

Which would be news to them.

But I am strange and have come out.. Only by His Amazing Mercy and Grace! And what I have learned about His Creative and Redemptive Work, and His Kingdom ,can be freely given to us with eyes to see and ears to hear..
He does that work if we let Him!

HalleluYah!

Judaism, or Esau the firstborn, with its central revelation at Sinai, was not God’s ultimate plan from before creation, what he had in mind. Judaism was transitional.

Christianity, with Pentecost its central revelation, the second born, was what he had in mind. We see this prophetically in Abel, Isaak, Jacob, which were second born. As Paul says, born of the spirit, the birthright, versus being born of the flesh.

Col. 2:16,17 says that the holy days instituted at Sinai, were but shadows of the true, i.e., the body of Christ. All fulfilled in Christianity.

Glad you mentioned Pentecost..

With study, one can see Christianity gets its ‘birthday’ wrong every year!
About 50 days wrong..
And its because they follow Rome and Judaism..

Christianity would understand in a new way why Jesus used 30/60/100 in the Parable of the Sower), if they followed the calendar He taught Israel..

And 30/60/100 has something to do with what happened to Israel while on the journey to and from Sinai.. What a blessing to see why He used those three folds to describe His Kingdom.. Can lead to even deeper meaning of scripture- maybe unlock more mysteries of the Kingdom..

But again, Judaism and Christianity dont count correctly and miss quite a lesson about His Kingdom..
A parable that scripture says is the central parable to understanding all parables (Mark 4:13)

Maybe Eve coming out of the sleeping body of the First Adam is prophetic -
A shadow of His Bride coming out of the Last Adam’s Body, which too will be sleeping..

We don’t know how much we still don’t know.. It begins by coming out..
But ‘out’ is uncomfortable and takes faith..

Shavuot (seven weeks plus one day) doesn’t have anything to do with fifty? Similar to the Jubilee year (seven weeks of years plus the Shemitah) doesn’t have anything to do with fifty?

Don’t think we should be hijacking this thread, arguing Jewish calendar stuff, which has nothing to do with what it is supposed to be about - Ben Carson.

Carson is an SDA.. My post was about SDA.. And why they are just as deceived. No better. No worse.

You don’t accept my premise and most wouldn’t because they accept the way the world tells time..

I won’t hijack, but I will explain the ‘50’..
According to scripture, there is a count to 50, but that count is after the 7th Sabbath. Depending on the translation of whatever Bible you read, it can be extremely deceitful..
Lev 23:16 is my reference-
‘AFTER the 7th Sabbath, you shall number 50 days (another count)...

7 ‘Sabbaths’on our Father’s Calendar does not equal 49 days. There is always a couple New Moon Days that are added on- what is a New Moon Day?

That is a good question people should ask..

Rome ignores the New Moon Days(and so does the rest of the world)

The template is found in Ezekiel 46..according to Our Sovereign, when He spoke to Ezekiel, a New Moon Day isn’t one of His Sabbaths OR one of His 6 Work Days..

That can’t be explained with the world’s calendar. But it can with the Father’s..

And why people who day SDA as better or worse than other believers, start with a false premise, that blinds the whole world to His Kingdom Truths..

Ask Him why He has a non continuous 7 day week since Creation and you will see just how the whole world, even SDA, start with Satan’s counterfeit..

It is far bigger than the Presidency.. No one is fit on this planet to rule or reign..
We await His return to restore His Truth..

I would be happy to send a private message if you would like to see the 30/60/100 in light of that view.

Lots of doctrines and teachings may just melt away.

Imagine people understanding the real Pentecost isnt in the spring, but in the summer month- His 4th month- and it lands on a Natural Weekly Sabbath (just like His Unleavened Bread and Tabernacles)

Gentiles just by following His Calendar, can see He didn’t place any great burden on Israel- His Feasts begin on the 7th Days of the week..that is why they are called Sabbath rests..
Not extra days.. Just naturally built into His Calendar..

Carson would be blessed to know this, but he would not be able to be SDA anymore.. And maybe would see how futile it is to run for office in a Babylonian country doomed to end..

Babylonian country? Is this the belief that New York is the Babylon the great of Revelation?

NYC is as Babylon, as DC is, as Rome is, as Mecca is, as Jerusalem is..(and they aren’t the only ones)

The entire world is full of babel..
And it encompasses just what ancient Babylon was- the political, economic and religious powers of the world.

America houses the worldwide headquarters of Hollywood, porn and music industries.
That is the counterfeit freedom and liberty satan sells.

That is different than the freedom and liberty He gives..

I see the world completely different than most, I admit.
But that is His Work. And it is humbling.

But SDA is closer to that view than other Christian denominations, if not that extreme. The Amish probably share my views in part :)..

And the further SDA continue the call to prove all things, they may see how Satan works in their denomination too.
And hold fast to what is good.

Their Revelation understanding has very good scripture foundation. But lots of it starts with the premise of a future time when a Sabbath law is implemented by ‘Rome’.

They miss that Rome hasnt simply changed a day- they have changed the entire calendar and hides all of His Days ..especially the Sabbath ..

They center their entire doctrine, teaching and worship around the ‘Sabbath’.

Imagine their shock if they knew Friday prayer Muslims and those Sunday keeping Christians have had their assemblies on His Sabbath these last two ‘months’ - and the SDA have been worshipping on the wrong day..

I don’t know any SDA. I hope I do someday. They may be the ones who can see some of this first..

It would either mess up their denomination or their denomination, schools, businesses could be havens for people who may reject Rome’s timekeeping.
It isn’t easy to live, work, study, if His ‘Sabbath’ would appear to move.. Saturday for SDA still fits the satanic counterfeit.. But 4 Tuesdays in a row (which does happen) is a true test..

It would mean coming out of the world would/could be quite a faith test..

Humbling to see it. Humbling to observe it..
Blessed to see it,observe it and share it..

The fact that someone may be a Seventh Day Adventist is of no interest to me in the big world scheme of things
