MATT FLYNN RELEASED BY JETS, PROMPTLY ORDERS SOME BREAKFAST VODKA

NFL quarterback Matt Flynn, best known for being the former backup to Aaron Rodgers, is officially unemployed and hitting the sauce.

Almost a month after being released by the Patriots to make room for Ryan Lindley (who has since been released as well) and just a few weeks since signing a one-year deal with the Jets, Flynn fell victim to the wave of NFL roster cuts on Saturday afternoon. And like any self-respecting American who has recently been fired, he immediately started drinking.

That’s what up! My man with the early morning bloody Mary at 8:38 AM sharp.

In all likelihood, Flynn will end up on another NFL roster. There are too many teams whose quarterback situation is tenuous at best and where depth is an issue. S**t, if the Arizona Cardinals season goes anything like it did last year, Matt Flynn could be starting for them by Week 10.

In the mean time though, if you see him around town, buy the dud

That’s a shocker. To me anyway.

But then again I stopped following MF closely after he left the Pack...

Great idea.

Jerry, you listening?

Hate to say it, but if Jones was okay with M Sam, there’s no excuse (media circus wise) not to give TT a real shot.

Knowing Jerry, he’ll take Flynn because he looks like a good drinking buddy.

Has Tebow expressed that he’d be willing to be on a practice squad?

I'm going celibate today.

Maybe tomorrow too.

“Olives? No thanks.”

I agree. I prefer pickled brussels sprouts myself.

Not that I’m aware of but I’m sure he’d take it. I know I wouldn’t mind.

Heck, I’d be happy being the ball boy giving these guys Gatorade during penalty/time out/commercial breaks.

Tebow has other gigs he could be doing though.

The Cowboys signed the winningest college quarteback ever as their third string.

Former Lions backup QB Kellen Moore signs with Cowboys

Former Detroit Lions backup quarterback Kellen Moore has signed with the Dallas Cowboys, he confirmed to Chadd Cripe of the Idaho Statesman.

Moore, 26, was signed by the Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He has yet to appear in a regular season game. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he will join Dallas’s practice squad or the 53-man roster.

. . . Signing Moore gives the Cowboys three quarterbacks, along with Tony Romo and Brandon Weeden.

Moore starred at Boise State, where he was a four-year starter. The Broncos were 50–3 during his tenure, including an undefeated 14–0 season in 2009.

Moore can’t possibly be any worse than Weeden.

First of all who gives a rats ass what the man ordered for his breakfast. Last time I checked it was still a free country and he is a big boy. Some reporters need to get a life and remove their heads from their rectal cavity.

What, it’s a Bloody Mary. You’ve never had one when you have gone to a Fancy Breakfast or Brunch?

You have heard of Champagne Brunch, right?

When do you think People drink Bloody Mary’s?

That being said, it’s always 5 P.M. somewhere. LOL
