Question— is it racist or prejudicial, if through observation, we see that the same types of people get in trouble far more than other types of people?
Is it really racist that disproportionate numbers of blacks are in prison, when we see that disproportionate numbers of blacks commit the crimes which get them sent to prison??
Al Sharpton once lamented that people associate blacks with crime and social disorder. But if certain groups are more prone to crime and various social pathologies, is it racist and bigoted to observe the facts of who is involved with same?

You have to be careful thinking like that. You might start looking at whole nations and continents with that rationale.
Example: Liberia.
