The problem with Robots, Androids and Drones is not the device itself. It’s the people program it.
What if a megalomaniac leader (like Hitler) manages to get them programmed to turn on people?
They do not have Souls, and that is where the danger is at

I am a firm believer that a certain percentage of the population WANTS to be slaves.

Oh yeah no doubt! They LOVE their servitude. Much like a Hooker to her Pimp that slaps her around.
To: taxcontrol
A solid 30 percent, according to polls.

Stupid robot. It's a FEMA camp, not a people zoo!
It's time to take your robots out of government schools, people.

It uses Philip K Dicks eerie novels as a source for what it says hence its rather creepy response.
"Second Variety" was the short story that morphed into the "Screamers" flicks.
I wonder how many here have read "Beyond lies the Wub"?

It is not the robots fault, it was the3 dumbass who programmed it.
Just like your average democrat voter, it isn’t their fault it is the school/media/politicians who programmed them.

To: Enlightened1
Ill keep you warm and safe in my people zoo, where I can watch you for ol times sake, the bearded robot intoned. What. You think you can buy our compliance with a little food, a little shelter, health care, cell phones, cable. You think we're that pathetic, bearded robot?
Well, I got news for you robot-san, we're not about to trade our liberty for a little security!
Errrrr.....wait a minute. How is that different from your typical DemocRAT run inner city?

Beyond lies the Wub is hard to explain.
Basically a space ship crew is provisioning their ship for a return to earth and they take on a large animal they intend to eat. It has an unusual self preservation method.
I posted a link to the full text. Its very short.
