From the first episode, I presume the junkie will be made into some kind of hero. Not unlike what’s going on with Elliot in Mr Robot. It’s a disturbing trend in TV.

The dealer would have been a greater asset in a societal collapse.
We may not love what he does in society but without society I suspect he would show survival instincts.
