That was another inexplicable senate vote by Cruz, and Mike Lee, that really makes one scratch one’s head.

The phrase “true conservative” really doesn’t seem to mean a whole Hell of a lot outside of you can’t count on them when it really matters, or maybe we can look for the words “true conservative” carved into the handle of the knife in our backs and Israel’s back.

Um No, what really makes one scratch their head is how stupid voters have become that do not look at all the facts before opening their mouths up and making an illogical point.

The Corker Bill sucks. BUT, if you had been paying attention at the time you would have seen the statement the Cruz put out. McConnell pulled the rug under everyone for not allowing adding amendments to the bill (Such as a requirement that Iran had to recognize Israel’s right to exist, submitted by Rubio and Cotton).

Cotton’s view was always that the vote shouldn’t matter because it should already be required to be a treaty and require 2/3 Senate approval. But everyone knew this out of control President wouldn’t submit this “deal” to the Senate as a treaty and that he would commit another impeachable offense, but no one in the House (Boehner) would allow a vote of impeachment to come to the floor should that have occurred because the GOPe has no spine. We all know this.

So Cruz/Rubio/Lee and everyone else that voted against cloture voted for the final bill, stating that it sucked, but it would at best “delay, if slightly”, a bad deal where the Senate would still be able to review it since it put in writing that the Obama Admin had to submit it for approval.

FTR, I’m against that bill and would have preferred Cruz and Cotton to start promoting impeachment had Obama Admin not been “forced” via the Corker Bill to bring it to Congress. But we all know Boehner would have never allowed that vote to take place, no matter what. So what was the choice? A bad deal with no input from Congress or a bad deal where they would at least get to review it?
