The sheriff of a nearby county where I own rentals regularly uses his SWAT unit with their 6-ton tank to arrest people. In most cases they used to send one deputy. But now they have a SWAT and the crew gets extra danger pay. Money to burn, for sure.
- Kind of reminds me of something I heard (or read) many years ago about TV shows: "the rifle that hangs above the mantelpiece in the first act will be used to shoot someone in the third act."
Tanks start at 30 tons - 6 tons is a glortified pickup.
