I’m pretty sure clueless tourists are the only people who would wander into the path of a boar hunt

And how does one identify a boar hunt? Do they post signs?

Actually, here fences and/or signs that say things like “private property”, “no trespassing” etc are sufficient-in hunting season or out of it-for anyone who is smart enough to read, and doesn’t want to be arrested for trespassing, never mind shot at-but I don’t know if they do that in European countries. If an area is used for hunting-any hunting-at any given time, I would think it would be posted if it was near a tourist biking/hiking trail, just to avoid any liability.

Here wild hogs are often hunted with dogs, there are people on horseback or on ATVs running around-it is a noisy activity, as a rule. With the noise of people and one or more large hogs crashing through the woods and underbrush, with or without hounds baying-I can’t imagine that a boar hunt would be any quieter or hard to miss in some other country-but I could be wrong...
