Yes, ladies and gentlemen, when the topic is Trump, you must reach for superlatives. We didn’t plan it this way, but a very substantial part of the discussion on this week’s Need to Know centers on the golden-haired casino tycoon/former (?) Democrat/single-payer healthcare system supporting/insult dispensing/big government favoring/immigrant-bashing destroyer of worlds. There’s a type of political pundit who always finds wisdom in the people’s voice. Certainly you risk being called “elitist” in a democracy like ours if you fail to praise the people’s infallible judgment. Jay hasn’t finished excoriating the people for reelecting Obama (never mind rejecting Dole and McCain). I am beside myself with frustration that the Republicans — in a year when the Democrats are imploding — should be self-sabotaging. Judge for yourself. Do join us!

If the elites didn’t have Trump to kick around they would be going after Cruz.
Cruz is electable, Trump is not.
She’s going after us - the people who support Trump. We are the doofuses.

Obama was the most un-electable candidate in history.
A complete mystery man. Radical liberal with dozens of shady and criminal people in his past.
He was elected twice.
The ascendancy of Barack Obama has completely removed the electability standard.
You forget. Obama had the support of the msm. He was the anti-war candidate. Remember the adoring crowds in Berlin.
The point is that the clown in the White House now has lowered the bar so low for electability and experience that those two requirements are now irrelevant.
