IMHO, REVOLVER was the best LP ever by anyone. After that, Paul was still improving while the rest got bored and were bailed out by George Martin's production.

Reading about them punching the clock in the studio trying to come up with something sounds like torture, musically. It's a wonder they came up with as much as they did ‘67-'69.

Mick/Keef are way underrated as songwriters. Did you catch DOOM & GLOOM a couple of years ago? A classic!

Hard to disagree.

I read some Brit poll a few years ago that stated the same thing.

I talked my mom into buying it for me when I was in the second grade (1968). I wore the grooves off of it. Now, all these years later, it resides on my iPod. It has that much staying power. It's just that good.

Mick/Keef are way underrated as songwriters.

To this day I still have trouble believing that Mick and Keith wrote those songs. But, I guess they really did.

Back then it was always Beatles vs Stones, but as time goes on, the Who has really held up.
