The original airframe for this is in the Experimental Aircraft Museum in Oshkosh WI. I saw it a few years ago.

Evidently, it was bought in France by someone who wanted the two engines (planning to put them in cars) and they donated the unwanted parts (the airframe) to the museum.

Nifty deal all around.

Bugatti engines intended for the Royale cars were also repurposed as Train engines.

IIRC they put two in parallel back to back with two more in parallel all geared together.

Bugatti was a genius.
