My older half brother was captured during the Bay of Pigs invasion and one of my earliest memories is sneaking him a sandwich into the prison yard where he was being held.

My mom had me put it in my shorts and I was told to tell the guards it was for my lunch if it was found. She was searched before we were allowed in but I was not. When I gave it to him in the yard I was heralded as the leader of the revolution by his fellow captives and was given piggy back rides and generally made a great fuss over my brave act.

Did he survive his capture?
