Florida police say four teens hacked a 17-year-old boy half to death with a machete before ordering him into a hole and burying him while still barely alive. Then two of the alleged attackers celebrated by having sex nearby.
Desiray Strickland, 18, was arrested Wednesday in the sickening murder of Jose Amaya Guardado on June 28. Kaheem Arbelo, 20, Jonathan Lucas, 18, and Christian Colon, 19, were arrested last week, and reportedly confessed to the crime.
The foursome apparently plotted the gruesome killing for a couple of weeks, according to court documents obtained by the Miami Herald. They allegedly dug a hole and hid the machete in advance. The motive is still unknown, but police believe Guardado owed one of them money.
All five attended the Homestead Job Corps campus, a government-run free education centre. According to the documents, the four allegedly lured Guardado from the school to a nearby wooded area, where they attacked him.

The brutality and sheer savagery of the gang rape, sodomizing and burning/torture death of these two poor kids is so stupefying it should have been front page, all day every day news. And it was a hate crime, pure and simple. Two of them have already come up for parole.

If you know Florida, you know our problems. Massive immigration without assimilation (Cubans, Haitians, Mexicans, etc.), a criminal population drawn South where the weather permits them to live without housing, miles of shoreline for drugs (and drug dealers) to enter, an aging population that stresses resources (Florida is reputed to be God’s Waiting Room), welfare programs far too favorable to immigrants (some have been known to go straight to emergency rooms at taxpayer expense), etc. We’re trying to clean up our state but the large urban centers, especially Miami, Tampa, and Orlando, make the task difficult.
They are all eligible for the death penalty. Gee, what would Jeb Bush do if he were still in office? Who is the new governor and is he worth anything, or will crimes like this continue without final justice?
Time to thin the low-DNA crowd if only to protect sane, decent folk from them and their offspring.
