Hmmm... The NW Alabama county that I was born and raised in was ranked low. Yet, it contains several small, beautiful waterfalls & hills with wonderful views. There is also a small ghost town which contains remnants of General Andrew Jackson’s Military Road. & a grave of an Unknown War of 1812 soldier. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.

Proximity to a body of water is on the list of “Things White People Like”.

Apparently it’s a universal thing among them.
