cash?
Yup.
Undoubtedly a race went on to be the first there.
MSM sensationalized this tragedy yesterday by refering to the plane as an AirLiner...Its a commuter plane
HMMMM. I wonder if this could have been sabotage in order to separate the plane from the money prior to takeoff and leave no evidence.
here is a theory. the cash was stolen and the plane was sabotaged to cover the theft of funds.....I know that 470,000 dollars is not much but it is enough to tempt one or two low level employs working in baggage handling. if I was the airline I would take a look at the baggage handlers and see what they have been up to.
$470,000 is a LOT ......easy to see how crooks, and murderers, would go after it....easy pickin’s really....
“I know that 470,000 dollars is not much but it is enough to tempt one or two low level employs “
470,000 in Indonesia goes a long way!
Oh I don’t know...$470,000 sounds like a lot of money to me.
Low-level baggage handlers have the smarts to make a plane disappear for over a year when the entire world is looking for it?
just because they have job you look down on does not mean they are not smart. also they could care less if it was ever found. even if the plane was found the day of the crash it still covers up the theft if they timed the crash over the ocean.
it is a lot of money for me seeing how My bank account has only 150 dollars in it and I owe my credit card 2,000 dollars. but money has never tempted me and as far as I am concerned 470 thousand dollars is way undervaluing the price of your soul.
Bottom line is that the simplest answer is usually the correct answer. This was done by someone who had direct control over the aircraft. Most likely one of the pilots. Or it was mechanical. How baggage handlers would be able to make a plane go off-course, cut communications, and fool the best investigators on the planet for a year is a bit of a stretch for me.
this is your post (Low-level baggage handlers have the smarts to make a plane disappear for over a year when the entire world is looking for it?) this statement speaks of looking down on there intelligence.
Was D.B. Cooper on board?
As I explained, I don’t see anyone short of the pilot in the cockpit as being able to pull this particular stunt off. So it’s pretty obvious that I don’t think many people on the planet are smart enough to pull this caper off. I don’t think I’m giving baggage handlers too little credit, I think you’re giving them way too much credit.
the only credit I am giving to baggage handlers is stealing something and sabotaging something and all I am saying is that ii is possible. no one knows what really happen to the plane and it this point a year later it is doubtful anyone will find out for sure.
Insurance guy: Was there anything of value on the plane?
Airline: No. not....wait. There was $200..er $470k on the plane. Yeah. I just remembered. In cash. That burns up completely.
