Sad that a community would allow thugs and gangs to kill them and ruin the place they live
From what I hear, this happens all the time.
There’s a shooting among blacks in the ghetto. Cops show up, there are tons of people around, but nobody saw anything.
There’s a drive by shooting, in broad daylight, on a crowded street, but even with many people around, nobody saw anything, nobody got a description of the car or the shooter.
Well, in our system of justice, you need people to testify in court against specific suspects in a court of law, for any justice to happen.
What is the societal solution to this? People either too afraid to testify, afraid of retribution, so the automatic response is that they didn’t see anything, they can’t identify anyone????
