...Will Raging White Guys Succeed in Hijacking Sci-Fi’s Biggest Awards?
I can’t for the life of me recall reading much science fiction written by black guys. Can anyone enlighten me?
So it's OK when Lefties do it, but not OK when somebody else does it?
A clear evidence of leftist ideology is the inability of the proponent to know when to shut up. The article is 90% too long, making it a genre tactic of leftist ideology. Make the complaint so long and dreary it will be unnavigable. Thus it will not be directly dissected.
Keep in mind a blob is consistent in all its parts. Examining any sentence in this article is sufficient to remove it from consideration.
A lot of what Neil Degrasse Tyson does is science fiction.
I stopped reading after the author’s name, Miles Schneiderman.
Was that a character name on Seinfeld?
Samuel R. Delany, Octavia E. Butler (deceased), and Steven Barnes come immediately to mind. There are others.
bfl
I find it interesting that this is published by someone who is an Editorial Assistant, probably the next step up from the mail room delivery person. This guy is probably a would be writer or editor who is trying to break into the industry criticizing successful authors who happen to be conservative and don’t align with his view about how science fiction and fantasy have to be PC like everything else in his world.
Evening Star,
Thanks for your interesting reply to Sasprilla. I never thought about the race of these guys. I’ve read a fair amount of Delany, but am unfamiliar with Butler or Barnes (although, I may have read them quite a few years ago and merely not remember them.)
Thanks, again.

ugly concern..
The Nebulas are bigger than the Hugos. Whenever you let the people vote weird things happen.
This sort of reminds me of the old joke which asked why there were no Arabs on Star Trek.
GamerGate has really damaged their credibility and ability to hold an audience. Desperate shrieking is all that remains.
Lol
And I'm not even a vile faceless minion.
Huh? The freakin King of Jordan was in Star Trek.
